Austin Lord, Motion Graphics Designer

Motion graphics opens a world where my childhood fantasies are reality, characters in my imagination live and breathe, and anything is possible. Motion graphics are my doorway to a world where everything is alive. A world where I can bring shapes, colors, characters, and information to life through motion.

As a professional motion graphics designer, I am able to share my world. Motion graphic design has allowed me to apply my love for characters and motion to information, communication, and storytelling. As I continue to explore motion through 2D and 3D animation, videography, and interactive visualization, I adapt my expertise to the message and the audience of every project I am involved with, from PSAs and advertising, to branding, to film and interactive art. Motion graphic design has become not only the doorway in to my own personal world, but the voice through which I speak to the rest of the world.

I recently completed my Master's degree in the Department of Telecommunication at Indiana University. I have experiencing producing PSAs for non-profit organizations, from concept to completion; branding graphics for web-based content; and special effects and compositing for short-films and web-series. Along with motion graphics, I have experience in all aspects of video production, from scripting and storyboarding to editing, as well as experiencing teaching introduction to advanced production classes in a hands-on environment.
